Only just finished listening to this for the first time but it's absolutely stellar! David's instrumentals are wonderful, Alasdair's voice is an absolute delight and Amble's use of electronics is incredibly judicious, effective, and adds a whole new dimension to these songs. Gorgeous stuff, really. Can't wait to explore it further. Pedro

Nice record. Calm and relaxing music. Lyrics very simple and banal but it kind of adds to the ambiance.
maybe a little bit repetitive from song to song. kwack

Lankum, as they are now known, don't just touch a nerve, they press on it. Listen to Radie Peat sing Liam Weldon's Dark Horse of the Wind or the whole band perform Peat Bog Soldiers and you will feel the presence of the past. It's all around us. Ursula's Crow

This is spirit of Sahara converted to a music, and even a small semitones of atmospere has not been lost. This music deeply impressed me. I feels like im sitting again in the desert in a campground by the fire. I'm missing those nights so much, and hope to travel there again next year. santero86
