Only just finished listening to this for the first time but it's absolutely stellar! David's instrumentals are wonderful, Alasdair's voice is an absolute delight and Amble's use of electronics is incredibly judicious, effective, and adds a whole new dimension to these songs. Gorgeous stuff, really. Can't wait to explore it further. Pedro
Nice record. Calm and relaxing music. Lyrics very simple and banal but it kind of adds to the ambiance.
maybe a little bit repetitive from song to song. kwack

Beautiful album start to finish! Beautful smooth melodies in each song. A talented artist! Adrift has a romantic tone to it mixed in with the violin. Simply beautiful. Through the Woods reminds me of a beautiful fall day driving the blue ridge parkway or hiking the scenic hillside, watching streams flow. Truly relaxing, providing adventure, wonder and love. After the Storm reminds me of sitting on a rocking chair listening to the rain as it gently falls. Well done Ms Williams. I am a fan! kap716
I find Callahan's voice endlessly listenable- great songs, great chilled-out vibe without being maudlin or trite. One of the best American artists of the moment, for me. wolfgangyehyeh
